Dear Friends,
Every time I walk into a flood-hit home in Punjab or meet a childreceiving their first notebook in Raipur, I’m reminded why we startedthis journey. The Sood Charity Foundation was built on the belief that no act of kindness is too small. This quarter, our teams and Sonu Sood Charity Club members across India have shown what it means to serve with heart - from organizing blood donation camps that earned us recognition in Durg, to distributing blankets, fans, steel plates, and solar energy solutions that changed lives. We’re not just responding to emergencies - we’re empowering them. I’m deeply grateful to every volunteer, donor, and supporter who makes this mission possible.
Thank you for being part of this journey. Let’s continue to serve, to uplift, and to rewrite what’s possible - together.
Warm Regards
Sonu SoodFounderSood Charity FoundationWith India surpassing 100 GW of installed solar capacity in 2025, the Sood Charity Foundation is proudly contributing to this clean energy revolution. From installing solar panels at MG Hospital in Dewas to expanding it to other cities, this time SCF has installed solar panel in Solapur. It is prioritizing renewable energy as a tool for empowerment. These solar panels reduce electricity costs, ensure reliable power, and promote sustainability in schools, hospitals, and communities. By embracing solar, SCF is not just lighting homes - it’s illuminating futures, proving that green energy is the foundation of a brighter self- reliant India.
When devastating floods struck Punjab and Jammu & Kashmir, displacing millions and destroying homes, farmland and infrastructure, the Sood Charity Foundation once again rose to the occasion. In Punjab, over 5 million people were affected, with thousands of villages submerged and livelihoods lost. Jammu & Kashmir faced severe damage to homes, roads, and bridges, with tragic loss of life. Sonu Sood, deeply connected to Punjab as his birthplace, personally visited flood-hit areas, walking through submerged streets and meeting affected families. Alongside Malvika Sood and the Foundation team, he led immediate relief efforts - distributing food, clean water, medical aid, and shelter. This mission was not an exception but a reflection of the Foundation’s unwavering commitment to standing by disaster-affected communities.
REHABILITATION - Following the catastrophic floods that submerged over 1,400 villages in Punjab and displaced 3.5lakh people, and damaged 7,292 homes in Jammu & Kashmir, the Sood Charity Foundation has now shifted focus to long-term rehabilitation . With over 4 lakh acres of farmland destroyed and thousands of families left without shelter, SCF is actively working to rebuild homes, restore livelihoods, and provide safe living conditions. From transitional shelters to community-based recovery programs, SCF is committed to ensuring that every affected individual receives the support they need to rise again.
In a country, where over 14.6 million units of blood are needed annually - and where one donation can save upto three lives- every drop matters. This Raktabandhan, hundreds of donors across Bhilai and Kolkata came together to give the most precious gift: life. With the support of local volunteers and citizens, our blood donation camps replenished critical blood banks, ensuring patients in need - whether for surgeries, trauma care, cancer treatments, or chronic illnesses like thalassemia - didn’t have to wait. Beyond numbers, these drives nurtured a culture of empathy and civic responsibility, reminding us that real change begins when communities unite. To every donor and volunteer: Thank you. Your generosity turned hope into reality for countless families.
We’re proud to share that Sonu Sood Charity Club, Bhilai has been felicitated by District Hospital, Durg on14th June 2025 for its outstanding contribution to emergency blood donation. Recognized for organizing a successful Blood Donation Camp on 15th August 2024 and building a rapid-response system for urgent cases, SSCC Bhilai has become a trusted partner to the hospital’s blood bank. With real-time social media outreach and swift donor mobilization, lives have been saved in minutes.
Through its Shiksha Sarathi campaign, SCF is empowering children across Bhilai, Solapur, Delhi, Kolkata, and Raipur by distributing notebooks and essential stationery . For many underprivileged students, these basic tools are the gateway to education, confidence, and classroom participation. With the support of the Club members, the Foundation ensures that no child is held back due to lack of resources. SCF continues to nurture dreams, promote learning and build a future where every child has the tools to succeed.
Imagine studying in 40°C heat without a fan or eating lunch without a proper plate. That was the reality for children at a Kolkata school - until help arrived. When the school reached out, Sonu Sood Charity Club (SSCC)Kolkata stepped in. Together, we donated 10 ceiling fans, 150 steel plates, food, and gifts, creating a more comfortable and dignified environment for learning. Fans improved focus, plates promoted hygiene, and smiles returned to those classrooms. Sometimes, the simplest acts make the biggest difference.
Under our recent Punjab Flood Relief initiative, SCF supported 16,000families across villages in Moga and Ferozpur districts, distributing ration kits, mattresses, and blankets to those affected by the floods. Additionally, SCF extended medical assistance and carried out a house repair, ensuring families received both care and comfort during the challenging times.
