Every time I walk through a crowded street or sit beside a patient waiting for surgery, I’m reminded why we started the Sood Charity Foundation. It wasn’t born in a board room - it was born in moments of crisis, in the eyes of people who had nowhere else to turn.

Receiving the Young Humanitarian Award from the Miss World Organization was an honour I never imagined. But this isn’t just my recognition - it’s yours. It belongs to every volunteer who packed meals in the heat, every donor who gave quietly, and every supporter who believed that kindness can be a force for change.

I still remember the first time we handed out meals during lockdown. A man looked at me and said, “I didn’t think anyone would come.” That moment changed me. It taught me that service isn’t about scale - it’s about sincerity.

Today, with initiatives like Meal at 51, our Global Breast Cancer Surgery Program, and countless grassroots efforts led by our Charity Clubs, we’re building something bigger than ourselves. We’re building a movement.

At SCF, we strive to lead with empathy, act with urgency, and stay rooted in the communities we serve. We are nourishing the soul of our organisation one step kindness at a time.

A HISTORIC FIRST: SONU SOOD RECEIVESYOUNG HUMANITARIAN AWARD

In a landmark moment, Sonu Sood has been honoured with the Young Humanitarian Award by the Miss World Organization becoming the first recipient in the pageant’s 72-year history. This recognition is not his alone; it belongs to every supporter, volunteer, and believer in the mission of the Sood Charity Foundation. KINDNESS IN THE HEAT: A TALE OF TWO CITIES

This summer, compassion flowed through the streets of Kolkata and Bhilai as SSCC and SCF volunteers stepped up to beat the heat. In Kolkata, traffic signal workers received hydrating drinks and electrolytes, while in Bhilai, chilled sharbat brought smiles to daily wage earners and pedestrians. These simple yet powerful acts of kindness turned scorching days into moments of relief and connection. United by the spirit of #MainBhiSonuSood, these everyday heroes proved that empathy and action can make a real difference - one sip at a time.

MEAL AT 51: NOURISHING INDIA,ONE CITY AT A TIME

In Bhilai, Solapur, and Raipur, the Sood Charity Foundation and Sonu Sood Charity Club members came together for Meal at 51 - a pan-India initiative to serve fresh, hygienic, protein and carb-rich meals to those who had gone days without food. Despite logistical challenges, volunteers mobilized sponsors and ensured relief reached the streets. This drive wasn’t just about feeding - it was about restoring dignity to the hungry and reaffirming SCF’s commitment to serve the underserved with compassion, urgency, and care

UNITED FOR HOPE: A GLOBAL INITIATIVE TO DEFEAT BREAST CANCER

In a landmark collaboration, Miss World and Sonu Sood, through the Sood Charity Foundation, launched a global breast cancer initiative under the “United for Hope” banner. Partnering with Sai Hospital, Chembur, and leading surgeons, SCF now offers free breast cancer surgeries to underprivileged women - expert care, zero cost, and next-day recovery. This mission blends compassion with cutting-edge healthcare, restoring dignity and saving lives. Because every woman deserves a fighting chance - and together, we’re making that hope a reality

UNITED FOR IMPACT: SCF ANNUAL CONCLAVE 2025 - GOA

Sood Charity Foundation hosted its much-anticipated Annual Conclave in Goa on the 9th of April 2025, uniting members and Sonu Sood Charity Clubs from across India. This energizing retreat blended strategic planning with heartfelt recognition, celebrating the dedication that fuels SCF’s mission. Founder Sonu Sood, joined by his wife, personally connected with members, inspiring deeper commitment. The gathering also served as a platform to outline the year’s roadmap, forge new collaborations, and strengthen community bonds—all in the spirit of a light, joyful get away that recharged hearts and minds alike.
