The heartland of India, Punjab, is facing one of the worst floods in its history. Relentless rains and overflowing rivers have submerged over 1,000 villages, displaced 1.46 million people, and destroyed 61,000 hectares of farmland.
Families across Gurdaspur, Amritsar, Ferozepur, Pathankot, Fazilka, and Barnala have lost their homes, livelihoods, and cattle leaving entire communities in crisis. Schools have shut down, basic infrastructure has collapsed, and survival has become a daily struggle.
Our Response in Punjab
At the Sood Charity Foundation, our teams are working tirelessly on the ground to:
▸Distribute potable drinking water, food rations, and baby nutrition kits
▸Provide blankets, tarpaulins, and temporary shelter to displaced families
▸Run medical camps and distribute hygiene kits to prevent disease outbreaks
▸Coordinate with authorities and rescue teams to ensure help reaches faster
How You Can Join Hands
Your support can help us reach more families still waiting for relief. Together, we can rebuild lives and restore hope in flood-hit Punjab.
